VVCS provides counselling and support services to Australian veterans, peacekeepers, eligible members
of the Defence Force community and their families, and F-111 Fuel Tank Maintenance workers and their
partners and immediate family members. VVCS is a specialised, free and confidential Australia-wide
VVCS can provide you with:
• Individual, couple and family counselling including case management services
• After-hours crisis telephone counselling via Veterans Line
• Group programs including Anger Management, Depression, Anxiety, Lifestyle Management and Heart
• Support on transition from military to civilian life, including The Stepping Out Program
• Information, self-help resources and referrals to other services.
We can help you work through issues such as stress, relationship, family problems and other lifestyle
issues as well as emotional or psychological issues associated with your military service.

MEMBERS of the RAN Band, the
Australian Army Band Corps and
the RAAF Band have formed the
ADF Band which will perfor m at the
Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in

Jubilee celebrations, more than 1000
musicians, pipers, dru mmers, sing-
ers and dancers from four conti-
nents will form part of the line up at
the 62nd Tattoo at Edinburgh from

The 54 talented musicians of the
ADF Band will sing, play and dance
to music iconic to Australia -- from
colonial times through to pop songs
and rock and roll by Kylie Minogue

30th anniversary of the Man from
Snowy River would also feature dur-
ing the perfor mance of six minutes
and 40 seconds.
"This is a major contribution from
the ADF for the Queen's Diamond
Jubilee in one of the world's most
recognised public arenas," he said.
"Perfor ming at the Tattoo is the
pinnacle of a Defence musician's
career and something we all stri
and hope for."

ABMUSN Michelle Kosach,
who plays the clarinet, said it was an
exciting and amazing adventure to
be a part of the Tattoo.
"The training has been needed
as the display is very intricate," she
said. "I like the dancing on the side --
it's a bit of a Kylie Minogue boogie. I
love putting moves to the music and
stretching my abilities."
Training for the display, designed
by WO1 Vaughan Grant, was held at
HMAS Harman and the main chal-
lenge for the musicians was lear ning
a unique drill.
The musical arrangement has
been skilfully crafted by SGT Greg
Peterson, of Defence Force School
of Music, to ensure the music main-
tained its integrity and f low.
Eighteen members of each ser-
vice make up the ADF Band.
